The Food Bank is a grassroots, nonprofit organization that acts as a “collection and clearing” house for emergency food and supplies to over 30 community-based organizations.  These community organizations serve as distribution partner agencies, located in communities across El Dorado County. Together, we are a collaborative service team, called the Food Bank of El Dorado County’s “Emergency Food Assistance Network”.

As a team, the Emergency Food Assistance Network forms a shield against the threat of food insecurity. The Network offers county-wide support for thousands of our neighbors that struggle to make ends meet, every single day.  The collaborative functions as a safety net for El Dorado County’s most at-risk populations, including rural and remote communities.

The Food Bank and Network agencies are committed to serving as advocates for their neighboring communities throughout El Dorado County and South Lake Tahoe.
