No Vet Goes Hungry Program
As a result of a partnership with El Dorado County Veteran’s Commission, the Food Bank of El Dorado County is proud to act as the emergency food assistance safety net for local veterans and their families.
Food Bank volunteers and staff work hard to assure that all veterans in El Dorado County have regional access to healthy and nutritious foods. This unique program is special to everyone involved as our local veterans and their families have given so much.

Program Dedicated to Doc League, a Local Veteran
Doc League, a local Veteran, was the inspiration for staging the Food Bank of El Dorado County's No Vet Goes Hungry Program. Mr. League has been involved with assisting Veterans for many years in and out of El Dorado County. As a result of Mr. League's commitment to your local Veterans and our neighbors that struggle to make ends meet, we dedicate the No Vet Goes Hungry Program to Mr. League and his years of service.
