Planned Giving and Bequests
The Food Bank of El Dorado County is grateful to those who remember the less fortunate through estate planning. Everyone should have a good estate plan: a will and/or trust that are properly worded, signed, witnessed and not contradicted by other binding arrangements you may have made. Effective estate planning takes time, effort and a good attorney. But, in the end your plan will allow your family to avoid the delay and needless expense that often occurs when a love one dies without a will.
Many feel estate planning is for those people with large sums of money or assets that are difficult to divide amongst their large families. In fact, everyone will benefit from some degree of estate planning.
