Host a Fund Drive

fund driveOur high-volume purchasing power and operating efficiency allow us to use donations very effectively. In addition, cash gives us the flexibility to obtain foods throughout the year that are typically available only on seasonal or regional basis. The Food Bank of El Dorado County promises their donors the biggest bang for their buck.

If you are interested in hosting a fund drive to help our neighbors who struggle to make ends meet, then contact the Food Bank today. Our staff will be more than happy to help. Call us at (530) 621-9950 or info@foodbankedc.org.

Planned Giving and Bequests

The Food Bank of El Dorado County is grateful to those who remember the less fortunate through estate planning. Everyone should have a good estate plan: a will and/or trust that are properly worded, signed, witnessed and not contradicted by other binding arrangements you may have made. Effective estate planning takes time, effort and a good attorney. But, in the end your plan will allow your family to avoid the delay and needless expense that often occurs when a love one dies without a will.

planned givingMany feel estate planning is for those people with large sums of money or assets that are difficult to divide amongst their large families. In fact, everyone will benefit from some degree of estate planning.

To receive information on how to remember the Food Bank of El Dorado County in your estate plan, please call (530) 621-9950 or email info@foodbankedc.org. A Food Bank representative would love to sit down with your family personally and discuss a unique opportunity to leave a legacy right here in El Dorado County.
